Switch Between NiCE CXone Employee Profiles

Users with multiple NiCE CXone employee profiles can switch between them on the account access page. You can set up secondary employee profiles that link to your primary profile. Secondary profiles must have the same email address as your primary profile. You can switch between these profiles as often as you need without having to log out and back in again. The URL of the account access page is https://cxone.niceincontact.com/account-access.

These steps permit you to switch between NiCE CXone employee profiles. They are not designed to let you switch between NiCE CXone and other enterprise applications, such as Salesforce or ServiceNow. They also do not let you switch between accounts used to log into websites such as the NiCE CXone developer portal or other NiCE platforms such as AI Agents (Cognigy).

Complete all of the tasks on this page to set up the ability to switch between NiCE CXone accounts.

Identify the User ID of Your Primary Profile

  1. Click the app selector icon of app selector and select Admin.

  2. Go to Security Settings > Bulk Upload Portal.

  3. Click Employees and click Download Active Users. A CSV file is downloaded to your device.

  4. Open the CSV file.

  5. Copy the user ID of your primary profile from the User ID column. You will use this ID when you set up your secondary profiles.

Link Secondary Profiles to Your Primary Profile

  1. Click the app selector icon of app selector and select Admin.

  2. Click Employees.

  3. Select the employee account that you want to link to your primary profile.

  4. Click the Security tab.

  5. Select None Selected from the Login Authenticator drop-down. You won't be able to login directly to NiCE CXone with your secondary profiles. You will only be able to access your secondary profiles on the account access page.

  6. In the External Identity field, enter the user ID of your primary profile.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Repeat this process for each of your secondary profiles.

Switch Between Primary and Secondary Profiles

  1. Go to https://cxone.niceincontact.com/account-access in your browser.

  2. Log in with your primary profile's username and password.

  3. Select the secondary profile that you want to use. Doing so will grant you access to NiCE CXone with that profile.

  4. Keep this page open if you want to switch between user profiles.
