Retrieve Endpoint Credentials From AI Agents (Cognigy)

You must retrieve two values from AI Agents (Cognigy) before you can configure Virtual Agent Hub: the Endpoint URL and the Verify Token. Both values are generated when you create a NiCE CXone Endpoint in AI Agents (Cognigy).

If a NiCE CXone Endpoint has already been created and enabled for the Flow you want to use, you can retrieve the URL and token from the existing Endpoint instead of creating a new one. Open the Endpoint in AI Agents (Cognigy) and go to step 7.

  1. Sign in to AI Agents (Cognigy) using your CXone SSO credentials.

  2. Open the project that contains the Flow you want to connect to NiCE CXone.

  3. In the left navigation menu, select Deploy, then select Endpoints.

  4. On the Endpoints page, click + New Endpoint.

  5. In the New Endpoint section, do the following:

    1. In the Endpoint Type list, select NiCE CXone.

    2. In the Name field, enter a unique, descriptive name. For example, NICE_CXone_OrderStatus_Prod.

    3. In the Flow list, select the Flow you want to use.

    4. Click Save.

  6. In the Configuration Information section of the Endpoint detail page, locate the Endpoint URL field and copy the full URL. Store this value in a secure location. You will need this field value when adding a configuration in Virtual Agent Hub.

  7. In the NiCE CXone Setup section, locate the Verify Token field and copy the token value. Store this value in a secure location. You will need this field value when adding a configuration in Virtual Agent Hub.

  8. Locate the Enable Endpoint toggle and turn it on. The Endpoint must be enabled before NiCE CXone can send requests to it. If the toggle is off, AI Agents (Cognigy) will not respond to requests from Virtual Agent Hub.
