To connect NiCE CXone Knowledge Management (Expert) to a knowledge base, you must either provide your Knowledge Management (Expert) credentials to NiCE Professional Services or enter them in Knowledge Hub yourself. This page describes how to generate those credentials by creating an Knowledge Management (Expert) API token. You should treat the credentials like passwords. Be sure to store them in a secure location.

In Knowledge Management (Expert), go to Site tools > Dashboard.

In the left menu, click Integrations > API Token Management.

Click Add new API token.

In API token type, select Server.

Enter a Name for the API token.

Click Generate API token.

Copy the key and secret from the pop-up that appears. Store them in a secure location. If you choose to enter your Knowledge Management (Expert) credentials in Knowledge Hub yourself, enter these values in the Config Key and Config Secret fields.
